TANGENTEN Adelheid Eichhorn, Leah James, Friedemann Grieshaber, Alexandra Karrasch, Udo Klenner, Bettina Lüdicke, Bettina Meyer, Petra Ottkowski kuratiert von Sabine Aichele-Elsner Rundgang durch die Ausstellung Meisterhaus Kandinsky / Klee – Dessau 14. von links nach rechts: Bettina Lüdicke, Udo Klenner, Bettina Meyer, Alexandra Karrasch  TANGENTEN als mathematischer Begriff und zugleich Zeichen für Berührungspunkte versinnbildlichen den Ansatz des avantgardistischen Bauhauses. Laut der Meister des Bauhauses war es nur möglich aus einer klaren Theorie heraus etwas Neues zu entwickeln. Durch das Verweben von kühlem System und feuriger Innerlichkeit entstanden kraftvolle Werke, die bis heute Bewunderung finden. Mit dem hohen Anspruch dieser Erlebbarkeit und Lebendigkeit wurden Kunstwerke von acht zeit- genössischen Künstlern zusammengetragen und nun in TANGENTEN präsentiert. Inhaltlich lassen sich bei allen acht Künstlern Bauhausideen oder spezielle Ansätze von Kandinsky und Klee finden. Die Konzentration auf die Farben Gelb, Rot, Blau, bewegte Linien und die bewußte Inspiration von Kandinsky zeichnen die Werke von Adelheid Eichhorn aus. Im Spannungsfeld von Oberfläche und skulpturaler Raumergreifung entwickeln sich die Papierarbeiten von Leah James durch Faltungen, Risse und Klebungen aus der üblichen Zeichnung weiter. Reduzierte Formen, deren Spiegelung und komposit- orische Entwicklung auf der Fläche verbunden mit einer vielfach variierten Farbig- keit lassen sich in der Malerei von Udo Klenner finden. Die Verdreidimensionierung der Linie durch das perfekte Kombinieren und Knüpfen von Drahtmodulen gelingt Bettina Lüdicke und schafft so filigran-lineare und zugleich präsente Skulpturen, welche den Betrachter zum geistigen Wandeln einladen. In höchster malerischer Qualität durchflutet Petra Ottkowski streng mathematische Grundformen und schafft so leuchtende Kuben und Räume. Die Genres Architektur und Bildhauerei verschmelzt Friedemann Grieshaber in seinen einzigartigen Betonskulpturen meisterhaft und verhilft so unbändigem, alltäglichem Material zu poetischer und ästhetischer Kraft. Neben der Wiederaufnahme der von Paul Klee erfundenen Ölpausen geht Bettina Meyer in der Bronze-Skulptur Herz-Pik-Kreuz-Karo von einfachen Formen aus, die ins menschlich Anmutende weitergeführt werden. Anknüpfend an konkreter Kunst und doch poetisch transformiert Alexandra Karrasch Material, in diesem Fall goldenen Draht, und beatmet durch ihre Installation den Raum. The master of the Bauhaus said, that it is only possible to develop something completely new, if there is a clear theory. Through the interweaving of a clear system and a passionate interior, powerful artworks emerge which attracts admiration still now. With the high aspiration of this vividness and sophistication are the shown artworks of the eight artists chosen, compiled, and now presented at TANGENTS. In form and content these eight artists touch on the ideas of Bauhaus or have a specific intonation of Kandinsky and Klee. The concentration on the colours yellow, red, blue, lively lines and the conscious inspiration of Kandinsky signalize the artworks of Adelheid Eichhorn. Between the priorities of surface and sculpural space-capturing in the paperworks of Leah James, the work develops through convolutions, rifts, and pasting. Reduced forms, their mirroring and compositional development on the canvas mixed with frequently varied colourfulness are the main focus in the paintings of Udo Klenner. The three dimensioning of the line through the perfect combination and knotting of moduls of wire succeeds Bettina Lüdicke, and also creates filigreed-linear but at the same time powerful sculptures which invites the viewer to intellectual meandering. In highest painting-quality flushes Petra Ottkowski‘s strict mathematical basic forms and also creates bright cubes and spaces. The architectural genres and sculpture are masterfully merged by Friedemann Grieshaber in his sensational cement-sculptures and elevates the ungovernable and ordinary material to poetic and aestetic power. Next, to the restatement from works by Paul Klee who invented the technic of oil-print, Bettina Meyer starts with her bronze- sculpture Heart-Pik-Cross-Karo with simple forms and continues them to make manlike associated forms. Continuing, the concrete art of Alexandra Karrasch transforms materials in a poetic way, in this case golden wire, and ventilates the room with her temporary installation.
