Gaby Taplick gelingt es immer wieder diese Träume in Ihrer Kunst im Jetzt zu verschmelzen. Eine geheimnisvolle, begehbare Kapsel wird in jedem Fall die hungrigen Augen, die Neugier und Erlebnislust der Besucher stillen. Die „Raumkapsel“ stellt eine künstlerische Weiter-entwicklung der Arbeiten „In meinem Schrank, da ist ein Regenbogen“ (2007) und „Die Rakete zu den Erdenräumen“ (2006) dar und wurde speziell für diese Ausstellung umgesetzt. Gaby Taplick spielt mit Motiven und Gegenständen unserer Erinnerungen. Wer denkt nicht gerne an die unbeschwerten Momente, die man wild oder ruhig auf einer Schaukel zugebracht hat, zurück? Wer zog sich nicht gerne als Kind in seine Bücher-, Phantasie- und Traumwelten zurück? Wer baute nicht gerne ein extra Häuschen? Wollte nicht jeder einmal mit einer Rakete ins All fliegen? Inspiration in Gefundenem, Gesammeltem perfekt inszeniert und gekonnt wiederbelebt – das ist die Herangehensweise der Künstlerin Gaby Taplick. Eine poetische, lebendige, vielschichtige, humorvolle und ernsthafte Kunst begegnet uns in dieser Ausstellung und überzeugt durch Authentizität, Leidenschaft und Witz. „Weltall Erde Mensch“ - den „Klassiker“ fand Gaby Taplick 1997 in einer Mülltonne in Leipzig. Gaby Taplick always succeeds to melt this dreams in her art and fix it in the present. The „Space capsule“ continues the artistic development of the works „In my wardrobe there is a rainbow“ (2007) and „The missile to the earth-space“ (2006) and was created especially for that exhibition. Gaby Taplick plays with the motifs and subjects of our memory. Who doesn't like to think about the happy moments of the childhood, when you are sitting on the swing? Who doesn't wandering into the dreamworld of the books and phantasy? Doesn't everybody want to fly into the universe? Gaby Taplick gets her inspiration from founded and collected pieces, which she perfectly restages and refills with life.
